Tutoring Services

Is your student in need of an academic boost or are you a college student needing extra support?  I can help.  Tutoring is available in my home.  I possess a wealth of resources, and can offer assistance with study and basic organizational skills, as well as providing tutoring services.  I alter my teaching style to match the needs of your student, which is typically not an option in a classroom setting.

Tutoring services are available for students in grades 6 through college.  I primarily tutor math from the 6th grade level through Algebra II.  Additionally, I tutor non-math major college students who are fulfilling the basic requirements for graduation. I possess a strong background in working with learning disabled, attention different, gifted, and students diagnosed with emotional difficulties.

I am also available to support students in other academic areas as requested or needed.  Although my primary focus is on math, I can assist your student in completing work in other courses or with long-term project planning.  Please contact me with any questions.  During the school year I support students in their current learning activities/assignments for the classroom rather than burdening them with extra work.  During the summer I am available for remedial and enrichment work.

Please contact me via email if you would like to set up a tutoring session, or if you have further questions regarding the needs of your child.  Please provide a brief description of your or your student’s needs, as well as the name of the school that your student attends and grade level.  I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation. Also, please indicate your scheduling needs.

I am also available as an educational consultant/advocate to assist parents with issues related to students with learning disabilities or other special needs and to attend IEP or 504 meeting as a parent advocate.  Please find more information regarding these services in the link above.

Thank you for your interest.
